MiniBins.com is a growing medium sized waste and recycling hauler. We have trucks of all sizes that are all automatic and modern. It is very important to us to hire reliable, considerate and professional drivers. We require city driving experience and would prefer waste/recycling experience but will train the right person.
We are hiring for a full-time position (not seasonal hire) that will require the driver to operate Roll off Waste equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her assigned stops and to the correct disposal site; read a map and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
  • Interact with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify damaged waste bins, and tag containers for repair.
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally fit at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the cab and packer daily.
  • Complete required route/log sheets & other reports, as required.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB, IN AND OUT OF TRUCK ALL DAY LONG,

Requirements and Qualifications:
We run on-board computers in the trucks so basic functionality with smartphones and computers is an asset.
Class 5 with air or Class 3 driver’s license required

FRONT LOAD OPERATOR

We are hiring for a full-time position. (not seasonal hire) that will require the driver to operate Front End Waste equipment.

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her assigned stops and to the correct disposal site; read a map and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
  • Interact with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience
  • A self-motivated individual that does not stop until successful close
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in outside (hunter) sales roles with a proven record of success preference for 2 years contract sales experience (I.E. copiers, uniforms, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Works well with other team members.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, PowerPoint, excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CRM tools is a benefit.
  • Thorough knowledge of the waste and or recycling industry and competitors’ practices to find opportunities, estimate weights and pricing, and handle objections will be an asset.
  • Good numeracy skills to estimate pricing and calculate margins.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and the ability to operate his/her own vehicle
